The works of Luis Montoya and Leslie Ortiz will be the first things that visitors see when they walk through the doors of the Palm Beach Convention Center for this years’ Palm Beach Show.
A Visual Feast is an installation of the works by Montoya and Ortiz presented by Surovek Gallery and the Luis Montoya/Leslie Ortiz Sculpture Studio.
Montoya and Ortiz have been working together for more than thirty years. Their monumental paintings and sculptures can be found in private and public collections around the world.
Montoya established the first fine art foundry in South Florida, opened a sculpture supply store and developed the Sculpture Department at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, where he taught for many years.
Ortiz began working at the foundry in 1985 and began collaborating with Montoya in 1994.
This is the 23rd year of The Palm Beach Show, that combines art, jewelry, antiques and design from 140 exhibitors from Palm Beach and around the world.
The Palm Beach Show runs from February 12 through February 17 at the Palm Beach Convention Center.
